When I Grow Up, I Want to be…an Entrepreneur

Wow.  When I was growing up, kids wanted to be firemen or doctors or astronauts.  Apparently, today’s kids are much more likely to want to be entrepreneurs.  So when you’re feeling like being the owner/CEO of your own small business isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, remember that you’re a role model for kids, maybe even your own and maybe seeing it from their perspective will bring you some new motivation.

Schoolchildren are often asked what they want to be when they grow up. For many students today, the answer is entrepreneur.

A recent released Gallup poll shows that 77% want to be their own boss. Forty-five percent plan to start their own business and 42% said they will invent something that changes the world.
